The San Benito County AJCC Career Center is part of a state wide network of conveniently located centers providing employment and training services all in one place. Our Center programs include: Job Services, Unemployment Insurance, Vocational Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans services, Welfare to Work transitioning and Youth services. The San Benito County AJCC Career Center is funded by the Department of Labor under the Workforce Investment Act. Our goal is to make the recruitment, hiring, and training process easier, faster, and more efficient for both job seekers and employers.
Workforce Development Boards (WDB) receive federal, state, and local funding for
workforce development programs. They also oversee the local America’s Job
Center, where job seekers can get employment information, find out about career
development training opportunities and connect to various programs in their area.
● Save training costs by connecting with other businesses in your area that have similar training needs.
● Facilitate these connections to maximize the productivity and success of businesses in their region.
● Identify local and regional workforce issues and create practical solutions.
● Keep fingers on the pulse of changes in occupations and the local and regional labor markets.
